If I had known how wonderful this contraption was, I would have gotten it years ago! We make ravioli annually for the holidays and the sheet maker saves us so much time. Plus, homemade spaghetti, fettuccini, etc. are a breeze to make. Additionally, we recently had family members develop gluten issues. We use Anne Burrell's pasta recipe with a mixture of several GF flours and it works like a charm. No more store bought pasta for this family!

Best pasta ever!

I make my own freshly ground whole wheat pasta using my kitchenaid roller and cutter set. It is one of the most amazing stand attachments. I use the kitchenaid mixer to grind my wheat (I have the Mockmill grain grinder attachment and have never tried the one from kitchenaid), then I use kitchenaid's bowl and beater attachment to mix my dough, the dough hook to knead and the roller and cutter set to make the pasta. It is wonderful. Watch the videos available on-line and you will do great. I do find that I have to use more water (not a lot) when I use fresh ground duram wheat. The dough is light and great to work with. I so wish I had purchased the deluxe set to get the two additional cutters. If you are serious about making good pasta, you might spring for the nicer set. Love this product. When I have friends/family for dinner they usually order the set for themselves...

I bought these attachments years ago and use them everytime I make homemade pasta. They are easy to use and make pasta a breeze. I make fantastic lasagna, as well as fettuccine, pappardelle etc. I believe I bought the pappardelle cutter separate but all of these items are very well made. I also have the ravioli maker and it too saves so much time! You will love it. You can also find supportive videos on making pasta on you tube if you need help. I totally love all my attachments! ❤

Cracked pasta roller

I purchased this about 4 years ago. I love my KitchenAid attachments. I have only used this a couple of times. I went to use it again and the plastic roller was cracked in three different places. I would expect these items to last longer than this will little use( about 15 times since I purchased it. Contacted KitchenAid and was told no lifetime warranty only 1 year. Not happy about this. Should be better quality to have the KitchenAid name.

first time making pasta ever and i feel like a pro

i received this set as a birthday/christmas present as well as the stand mixer and i was soooo excited to use it to make my own fresh pasta and it did NOT disappoint at all.... i will also say that they are super heavy.... i mean i dont mind because its quality but i wasnt expecting it to be heavier than my mixer ....i love that it comes with the brush to clean after it is dried out the only thing is some of the pasta got stuck in where i cant get it out so i hear it clanking around and i can see it and i try to get the bristles of the brush to get it out but it will not come out soo i have no idea how to solve this problem..

I'm very happy with the quality. It seems like the spaghetti cutter size is small 2mm, like it should be considered the angel hair cutter which is 1.5mm they're size is way to close.The spaghetti cutter needs to be a bit bigger in size.
