I have used hand mixers and other stand mixers but finally decided it was worth spending a little more for a quality product. Other stand mixers wouldn't reach the edge of the bowl to mix all the ingredients. I could tell the difference in quality when I made my first cake and batch of frosting. It was a great purchase!
